Hello buriful people! So if you're a regular on this blog hopefully you notice my pictures are fleeker than before, yay!!!!I got a DSLR *dancing all the steps known to mankind*
It's been a long time coming right?I'm still trying to get the hang of it.These are the first photos from it on the blog.I'm sure they'll get better with time.Let's get into this review.

So i'm always looking to try new affordable foundations and since I was running out of my Mary Kay timewise foundation I decided to get this since it said 2-in-1 that means pretty good coverage right?I got it in the shade chestnut. It comes in a bottle that has a pump and it also comes in 13 other shades.

Good thing it has a pump.I'm thinking in my head that when this finishes I will pour another foundation that doesn't come with a pump into this, eet can't jes waste like dat!!
It says on the foundation -

  • medium to full coverage
  • lightweight,oil-free formula
  • longwearing,water-resistant and sweat proof.
I can tell you it definitely is medium to full coverage,it's very lightweight which is one of the top things to look out for in foundations because with all the contouring, highlighting etc you don't want to feel caked up.
For it being sweat proof,i can say it is at least for me because with the kind of heat in Nigeria sweat proof foundations are the way to go.
I wore it on my sister's birthday and I shared a photo on Instagram. In case you're not following me it's @cheecheelive.
It's definitely long wearing because after all the cooking, laughing and small dancing I did I was still on fleek and even after sweating so this makes it water -resistant  because all you need do is dab on your sweat and you're good?

This is how a pump of it looks and I wear about 1 pump and half or 2 pumps sometimes. It's a little yellow on me so I will have to be in between shades.Take note i'm in the shade hazelnut in the Black Opal stick foundation  and i'm in the shade 607 in the Mary Kay medium coverage and then in the Mary Kay timewise i'm a bronze 5 just incase.

Once this happens you can be sure there will be a lot of people in between shades so be sure to make sure of that before you purchase.
Here I blended it into my skin and you can see how nice the coverage is.It has a strong 'perfumy' scent so if you don't like your foundations with a scent this is not for you.
Price-wise i will say it's affordable especially with the rise of the dollar and this also depends on where you buy from.
I bought this for about N3800 from Scentcity Palace

Till my next post stay safe !!

  1. We are same shade. I love this foundation, please when you used it was it cakey? Thanks for the review. Congrats on your new camera.

    1. It wasn't cakey at all. It's light in my opinion. Thanks 😀😀

  2. Thanks for the review. I was thinking of purchasing this foundation but would like your advice tho.
My skin is perfect except for an oily t-zone and tons of sweat. As in sweat appears on my skin in pebbles, like freckles and then starts dripping down in torrents. Once i dab a few times, my makeup is patchy and probably completely gone.
I've been searching for a good foundation and primer.
Do you think this will work for me?
and any thoughts on a sweat control primer and setting powder?
    Thanks in anticipation

    1. Hi Favour, if you really sweat like you do then this foundation wouldn't do the job for you expect you purchase the mehron skin prep pro face no sweat primer. That is the one product Ive heard works. As for setting powder I heard they have a setting powder with anti-perspirant. I'm just not sure how it works. Hope this is helpful!

  3. Great review, telling us your shade in their brand helps a whole lot.
I don't think I'd be getting this foundation, i think chestnut might be too bright for me, hopefully they increase their shade range in the future.

  4. Hello, thanks for the review. I've been contemplating buying this milani foundation or buying Mary Kay time wise matte foundation, so please in your opinion which does a better job for oily skin and which lasts longer?
