Hello!!how yu doing? I've been AWOL for a reason.Some people may know about this but i'm slowly getting into things and I don't want to force any post but since i've been eating more than i've been wearing makeup hence the food post and subsequent ones.So I'm  making jollof rice and beans and honestly i have never made this.I make rice and beans just plain boiled and then have stew with it but I just woke up one day and wanted to eat rice and beans that had pepper in it.So here's how I cooked it because of course it turned out tasty!!


  • Rice 
  • Beans
  • Chicken
  • Ground tomatoes and pepper
  • Chopped fresh pepper(atarodo)
  • Knorr cubes
  • Groundnut oil
  • Crayfish
  • Salt
  • Onions
  • Cameroon pepper
First off I cooked my chicken and then I fried them because I used the oil from the fry to cook the rice and beans.

 I boiled my rice and beans separately without salt and when both were completely cooked i drained them of any water.

 I already chopped my onions and pepper and had my ground tomatoes and pepper ready.

Next I fried the onions and pepper in the oil I used to fry the chicken.
 Then i poured in my ground tomatoes and pepper and let it fry with the fire turned down really low.
 When it was fried I poured my chicken gravy in,some salt,pepper,crayfish and knorr cubes and then in went my rice and beans.
 Stir thoroughly and it's ready to be taken off the fire.
 Food is served!!
Very quick and easy and you get to have somewhat of a balanced diet!
